Ram Navami is a Hindu Traditional festival that falls in the month of Chaitra of Hindu Calendar. It is observed exactly on the 9t day of bright fortnight of Chaitra.Ram Navami is the birthday of Lord Rama, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Lord Vishnu took the human form “Rama” in the great epic Ramayana.Lord Rama is the son of Dhasaratha, King of Ayodhya.
Lord Rama took birth to kill the mighty king of Lanka, Ravana. Ravana was an asura, a demon of evil.
